The site is ideally located on the edge of Exmoor on the Tarka Trail in North Devon. It has access to the most stunning beaches ranging from rocky coastlines to extensive sandy dunes, ideal for a day on the sand or for the more energetic, fantastic coastal walks. The North Devon countryside is equally dramatic with soft green rolling hills and leafy lanes changing to the wild remoteness of Exmoor to the north and Dartmoor to the south.
For the walker, the cyclist or the driver who want to enjoy their journey North Devon has some of the quietest roads and the best and most varied countryside in Britain.
Forest Park Lodges is being developed to create a select cluster of quality holiday homes, set within a quiet but accessible forested area with a private road access.
Our holiday home is luxurious and unique in that it features a large decked area on the first floor providing the perfect facility for enjoying the views and relaxing.
The land adjacent to Forest Park is Forestry Commission land therefore it is unlikely that the views from the Lodges will be impaired by future building development.
Forest Park Lodges is central to the beautiful North Devon area, an ideal hideaway from the hustle and bustle but perfectly located to be within easy reach of any of the attractions afforded by North Devon.
The North Devon area is spectacular, relatively unspoilt and still offers picturesque towns and villages. Inland the green rolling hills give way to the dramatic vista of Exmoor. On the coast there is the contrast of craggy cliffs and warm rolling sand dunes.
The main towns of note are Barnstaple, Bideford, Ilfracombe, Great Torrington, Braunton, South Molton and Tiverton.
The main roads are the A39 skirting the coast and the A361 running from Barnstaple past Forest Park Lodges to Junction 27 of the M5.
Off the main A roads hundreds of minor roads criss-cross the county, motoring here is bliss, very little traffic, fabulous views and plenty of places to stop and explore.

A Lodge at Forest Park, North Devon is for you if you want to enjoy the quality of life. Maybe get away for the weekend, or to take a short holiday, or to possibly spend a longer time here with friends and family.
If you are active there are a wide range of opportunities, this is excellent walking country. If you seek water sports, sailing or swimming the coast is only a few minutes away.
If you only want to relax, you can take a dip in the heated pool, enjoy the spectacular views, pop down to the pub or local restaurant for a meal and take your time gently exploring the region, ending the day with your favourite drink on the terrace.
